Vineeta Lower is an Indian-American immigrant who has dedicated her life and career to serving her neighbors and achieving the American dream. Vineeta arrived in Oregon with her family when she was five years old, traveling from Dehli India after her father received a scholarship to study at the University of Oregon.
Today Vineeta is a working mom, teaching English to eighth-graders while also being a mother, grandmother, and volunteer at her church. She served over 20 years helping shape transportation policy in the north-west and can go to Salem to help fix unsafe roads and crumbling infrastructure in Oregon.
As your legislator, Vineeta will always make sure that our communities come first. While other politicians focus on our differences, Vineeta believes that bringing people together is what will make northwest Oregon a better place for our families.
